Jim Appenrodt had real estate in his blood from a young age. Originally with Northern Counties Title for 8 years; (Now bought out and known as Fidelity Title), Jim needed to be the one "making the deal." So although he would have had a permanent place (his father was Vice President), he bravely set out on his own and opened Laurel Realty. Originally on Laurel Street in San Carlos, Laurel Realty did so well that they moved to a more central location in San Francisco to better serve San Francisco and Marin clientele in addition to its strong ties to the Peninsula.  Born and raised in South San Francisco, Jim still talks to many of his classmates from grade school at St. Veronicas (South San Francisco). His father went to and was married to his mother St. Paul's, located just across the street from Laurel Realty.  Jim is known around the bay as one tough cookie, but that's exactly who you want working for you; someone who won't settle for less.
